Paradigm Solutions Providing Treasury Agency Disaster Recovery Software

Software and consulting services provider Paradigm Solutions International has won a contract to provide the Bureau of Public Debt software for managing operations during unexpected disruptions or outages.
PSI is providing the Treasury agency its web-based OpsPlanner COOP disaster recovery program for use during and after natural disasters, pandemics, power outages, cyber or other man-made threats, the company said.
OpsPlanner COOP also contains features for assessing risks and threats and for managing incidents and is intended to help agencies comply with federal regulations on continuity-of-operations.
“We are pleased to win this award and very proud to have the Bureau of Public Debt as one of our key Federal OpsPlanner COOP software customers,” said Ray Huger, PSI president and CEO. “We are committed to providing support for the federal directive requiring all government agencies to develop effective COOP plans and be prepared under all circumstances, to continue its mission essential functions and help ensure the continuity of government.”
The software is intended to help the agency use a repeatable methodology and identify both operational resources and impact on the organization during disruptions.
PSI customer personnel will provide the agency remote technical support and the company says it also maintains a staff of continuity planning professionals that provide clients services such as plan testing, table top exercises and continuity best practices training.
The Bethesda, Md.-based company provides continuity of operations planning software and consulting services to clients in the federal, state and local government and commercial sectors.
Organizations use PSI’s software to develop emergency plans manage incidents and automate their emergency notification and crisis messages.
Customers purchase the software both directly from PSI and from reseller CACI International on contract vehicles such as General Services Administration Schedules and a Defense Department blanket purchase agreement.
